MINNESOTA Employers must use Form W-4MN to determine the amount of Minnesota tax to withhold from an employee’s paycheck. Federal Form W-4 no longer determines allowances for Minnesota withholding. Employees must complete both the federal and state W-4 forms.

We invite any MN employers who falls under the new MN Family & Medical Paid Leave regulations to schedule a time with our team to configure the adjustment codes needed for this new requirement before 1/1/2026.
